DTLR partnered with Ricky Smith and R.A.K.E. for one of our greatest MealsGiving events yet. Over two incredible days, we fed kids, frontline workers, seniors, and adults with special needs with hot meals, delivered bag lunches to shelters, and helped provide 800 Thanksgiving turkeys to families across Cleveland.
With the support of local media, athletes, politicians, and everyday good folks, we also surprised families with free sneakers and apparel, turning a meal into a moment of joy.
It was community at its best ā love, laughter, and kindness everywhere. DTLR is proud to keep this tradition alive. Happy Holidays!
Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Jaylon Tyson teamed up with Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, and hundreds of other Northeast Ohio athletes, influencers, media personalities, and volunteers to serve hot meals to those in need as part of the inaugural MealsGiving celebration on November 26.
āIām incredibly proud to partner with Mayor Bibb to serve meals to the Cleveland community ā a place Iām grateful to call home ā for this amazing MealsGiving event. A special thank you to the RAKE organization for helping us bring joy and smiles during this holiday season.ā said Garland.
Specials thanks to Cordeliaās and Geraciās for letting us cook up some good food to be served around the city, at a local fire department, and at the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Ohio!

Today is National Random Acts of Kindness Day.
But kindness isnāt a trend.
Itās a choice.
Hold the door.
Send the text.
Buy the coffee.
Forgive.
Encourage.
Smile.
No act is too big.
No act is too small.
You never know what someone is carrying.
And you never know how one small act could change a life.
Go R.A.K.E. somebody today.

Cleveland showed up. Cleveland showed love. And once again, Cleveland made sure everyone ate.
MealsGiving isnāt just about food ā itās love disguised as food.
Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and supporter who helped us feed, lift, and love our city. š§”š½ļø #mealsgiving
Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, our Office of Violence Prevention Administrator Myesha Watkins, County Councilman Michael Houser and East Cleveland Mayor-Elect Sandra Morgan joined Ricky Smith of Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere and Jeff Clark of DTLR to deliver 400 turkeys to families in East Cleveland today, helping ensure everyone could enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. The Cuyahoga County Hunger Response Team is also working to support families affected by SNAP delays, making sure residents can access food quickly and safely this holiday season. We are proud to see our community come together to support one another and spread kindness. Everyone deserves a warm meal and a happy holiday. #WeAreCuyahoga #RAKE
Itās been a season with plenty on peopleās plates, but one thing stays true: Cleveland always finds a way to show up for one another. Letās hear it for the real āmeat and potatoesā of this yearās movement ā the community-minded organizations that poured their donations, time, energy, and heart into making sure *everyone* eats.

Myles Garrett is out here spreading kindness to kids all around Northeast Ohio.
Thanks to him, thousands of book bags are making their way into the hands of students across Cleveland ā with Marion C. Seltzer Elementary serving as one of the main hubs for distribution.
This is part of Mylesā commitment to deliver 5,000 book bags this school year. No spotlight, no noise⦠just kids and families getting the love and support they deserve.
Grateful to play a small part in helping his vision reach as many families as possible.
More goodness on the way. š§”š
