Naga is throwing a spring party 🌊🐍
Join us May 9 at Rainbow Falls in Golden Gate Park for an unforgettable evening alongside the sea serpent, all in support of the artists behind this beloved installation.
You'll enjoy live music, puppetry, sea shanties, glowing serpent vibes, bubbles, treasures, tacos, and playful surprises for all ages. 🫧
100% of ticket proceeds go directly toward paying artists and covering maintenance costs to sustain Naga in the park.
Created through collaboration, imagination, and community support, Naga has become a place of discovery and delight, and this celebration is a chance to help that story continue.

ONE NIGHT ONLY-Catch a double-header by two of the NW's finest puppetry purveyors!
Shadow Girls Cult, co-founded in 2018 by Cass Bray & Zane Exactly, is a queer shadow puppetry and projections duo based in Seattle, WA. Their practice involves a unique blend of shadow puppetry and live animation techniques. Using overhead projectors, adapted camera irises, human silhouettes, and other analog technology, they create puppet magic for audiences all over the U.S.
They will be presenting their acclaimed full-length piece “Unraveling”-in its' entirety.
Happy Accident returns with a new puppet dispatch from our beautiful cultural sewers. In their new show, Everything is Nothing, your favorite Saturday morning super pals take you on another trip through the dark alleys of modern life. Picking up where their last piece-the acclaimed Vol. 1-left off, Everything takes us further into our fractured collective psyche and OH MY it’s a BLAST. liz HOWLS and Drew Simpson pull inspiration from multi-level marketing, health and wellness culture, Mad About You, relentless pharmaceutical commercials and abhorrent technological “advancements” to create a surreal garbage world full of glitches, easy listening and flat, functional lighting. It’s like a trip to the dentist without all of the annoying paperwork and anesthesia.
Everything is fun. Everything is fabulous. Everything is what you want, when you want it.
If there was a pill that would make it all go away, why wouldn’t you take it?
This is an ALL-AGES event but due to subject matter we're self-imposing a PG-13 label with a lean toward PG-16.
There will be a limited number of PWYC tickets available at the door day-of-show.
Doors at 6:30, Show at 7:00pm. Per venue request, please NO ALCOHOL at this event.
I am so glad that I finally made it out to a @rainingchainsawsprojects event! I am exhilarated and a little bit relieved to see that there's still a space and a collective that is helping to ensure that people in San Francisco can enjoy and express incredible art!
And while I wish I had known about this place a long time ago, I can't think of a better way to find out about it from then from my dear Seattle friends @shadowgirlscult , who are doing multiple shows with Portland's @happpy_accccdent
If you missed the Raining Chainsaws shows but still want to catch this incredible lineup, they're performing tomorrow at @spirethechurch ! You still have another shot to catch it! I can't recommend it enough!
