“If I’m choosing to have a sandwich... I take it seriously.”
During the “9 to 5-style” recording sessions for her album, @iamsabrinasong stuck to a daily ritual: ordering the same sandwich from The Brooklyn Standard and enjoying it with her producer Ronnie at McGolrick Park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
That routine became a comforting escape from the sometimes-grueling process of making a record.
Here, she performs “Happy To Be Here” the only true love song she’s ever written, she says.
