This one felt a little like coming home.
While it was my first time visiting their beautiful new 17th Ave store, it’s rooted in a place that means a lot to me. Before the move, this was the old 4th Street location — a store I once managed.
It’s also where I started @yycruncrew as the lululemon 4th Street Tuesday Run Club, and even before that, where I was a lululemon Run Ambassador myself.
Now, @funfrugalfridayrunners heads out from that same community with @iambthiessen , who also runs with YYCRunCrew and is now a Run Ambassador too.
Pretty cool to see things come full circle. Thank to @victorbrusin and the whole lululemon 17th Ave Team!
History rhymes.
I’ve had some unforgettable moments at the Olympics watching friends compete, cheering on athletes, and standing shoulder to shoulder with fans from around the world. For two weeks, we set aside differences, step out of the news cycle, and rally around stories of perseverance, courage, and hope. And we have our athletes to thank for that.
@teamcanada you’ve made us proud.
Watching Connor connect with these stories has made it even more meaningful. The meaning of sport is what we choose to see in it. I see resilience. Respect. Grace in both victory and defeat. And, of course, joy.
