inspired by ancient chinese celestial chart, this character ‘曐’ is consisted of multiple connected star glyphs ‘𖥔’, building a galaxy altogether, representing the multiplex of chinese characters, holding both meanings of ‘insignificance’ & ‘stardom’. dispite of its rare appearance, like many variant characters (異體字), this ’星‘ holds history of its form in bronze inscription. variant characters are ubiquitous, marking different time stamps within the chinese / asian diaspora around the globe, revealing layers of evolution of hanzi pre-computer era and its pictograph essence ꩜
