Hi. It’s me...Rachel! The one usually behind the camera 🤪
I started this little career with a stolen camera (my dad’s...relax😂) and my kids as my guinea pigs. What began as a creative outlet somehow turned into a business, and this April marks 16 YEARS of doing what I love.
Truly wild.
A few things you’ll probably notice right away:
• I drink coffee sporadically and only hot. Iced coffee is an abomination.
• My caffeine habit is mostly powered by Red Bull. Sponsorships welcome.
• My wardrobe is 99% black and I have zero plans to fix that.
• I’m either in leggings, wedding workwear, or fully dressed to the nines. The in-between is a newer concept I’m experimenting with.
Somewhere along the way, I also became a grandma and I am completely obsessed. And while I’ve shared a lot of my life online over the years, I’m learning that some things are better kept close. Being more intentional about what I share, especially when it comes to the kids in my world, is something I’ve only recently started to implement. Life has a way of teaching you that privacy can be a form of peace.
I’ve walked through loss, have found love again, and built a life that feels full in new ways. Those experiences have shaped how I move through the world, how I show up for others, and how I create. I love deeply, value connection, and believe everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated in front of my camera.
At my core, I’m a storyteller. Getting to be creative with my clients and capturing moments that feel real, emotional, and honest is the greatest joy of my life. I hope I get to do this for many years to come.

Caitlan & Logan’s wedding day at @theastinmansion was filled with elegant details that felt beautifully cohesive from start to finish. Their custom monogram was woven throughout the entire celebration, embroidered onto napkins, pressed into the cake design, displayed on signage, and even carved into the ice sculpture at the bar. 🤍
The soft sage green accents paired with classic white florals created such a timeless look, and @racheldriskell captured every thoughtful detail so beautifully!
