Delta 7 Starfighters! These little starfighters started our as @cosimox_ 's alt build of the 75333 Obi Wan's Jedi Starfighter. Their alt build is incredible and brings the set to a size that's much closer to minifig scale. I've taken that model and made a few minor alterations using extra pieces to make a slightly more accurate model, although all the credit still goes to @cosimox_ 😁 I also put together a version of Plo Koons Fighter using the same build techniques. Here's a small mining mech I made a couple of months ago for the CMF Series 12 space miner that I picked up at a convention last year. This was a fun one for me as I hadn't used the yellow-orange color much; I also really wanted to use the tripod piece that was introduced in the CMF Series 27 and think I found a pretty good use for it. Also had to include the all important Octan power cell since this falls in line with classic lego / space. Hope you all enjoy! #lego #legobuilds #moc #mech #cmf

NR-N99 Persuader "Snail" Droid and OG-9 Homing Spider Droid These are my two newest Star Wars MOCs and I think they're my favorites. The Snail droid is one that I wanted to try for a little while but only just built up the courage to try. The construction is entirely different from anything else I've built; the two halves are built primarily with studs-on-top construction, then sandwiched together and held in place by one technic rod and several lightsaber bars. I think the end result is sleek and proportionate and looks very pleasing to me. I think its pretty close to minifig scale. The one thing I'm not the biggest fan of on this model are the eyes; I wish I could get the lit portions a little thinner. The Homing Spider droid is one that I was actually dreading making but I think it turned out well, although its a bit undersized. I started with the central body which is constructed similarly to the Snail droid; I then jumped immediately into the short sections of the legs trying to figure out how I'd be able to splay them in and out. I think my solution works but it's a little finicky. What do you think of these models? Let me know in the comments! This is a small STAP speeder that I made a little while back and recently used in my GAT post! There isn't much to it and I included the breakdown of the build in the last photo. This is my take on the Separatist Grounded Armored Tank (GAT) From 2002 Star Wars Clone Wars for PS2, Xbox and GameCube! This vehicle holds a lot of nostalgia for me. I spent lots of time in the 2002 Clone Wars game and adored this rugged tank. It was made to be the direct counterpart for the Republic Fighter Tank which also made it's first appearance in the same game. While the Fighter Tank was latched on to and updated over time, the GAT was forgotten and left behind in 2002. My version of the tank takes on what I believe to be more realistic proportions: narrower pontoon engines and shorter and sleaker main body. The vehicle also scales very well with my Republic Fighter Tank. I threw in Ventress in the first photo to counter Obi Wan that was shown in my Republic Fighter Tank post from last week and I feel like she fits the vibe of this vehicle pretty well. I updated my Republic Fighter Tank! This is a model that I have continued to come back to every six months or so and make tweaks to as I feel myself improving at design. This is my latest iteration of the model and I think its easily my best! I may consider making instructions for this version of the model, is that something you all would like to see? The Phase 1 212th troopers are from @republiccustomsstore ! Its left arm is equipped with a nuclear cannon, while the right arm carries a Dragonfang power claw. Each shoulder is armed with two missiles and two machine guns. During the design process, I kept thinking about how to give this mech a stronger ground combat vehicle feel, while avoiding the large armor plates on the shoulders looking too much like wings. My favorite part this time is how the cockpit hatch closes with a really tight and clean fit. I’m also quite happy with the reverse jointed leg design 🦾 This year marks the 20th anniversary of Exo-Force. It’s a great honor to collaborate once again with so many talented mech builders. 7706: Mobile Defense Tank Exo-Force Good Guys side Collab with: @haru_bonks : Grand Titan @zakar.ion : Sky Guardian @rabidfleabuilds : Mobile Defense Tank @neo_mocs : Aero Booster @bricksnbeasts : Supernova @legowarboss : Gate Defender This is my rendition of Exo Force set 7706, the Mobile Defense Tank! I never owned this set as a kid, but the large side mounted missile launchers always called to me on this model. In this MOC, I went for a lower profile, more heavily fortified look on my tank. The main turret is raised off of the back end with smaller manned personal Defense guns on either side to defend against individual bot units. The vehicle requires a crew of four to be fully operational with Ryu manning the large missile turret. I had a lot of fun with this model; its quite different from the things I normally tend to build but that's what made it enjoyable. The only thing I would have preferred to add to this model (but as I progressed I couldn't find a way to add it in) is the six barreled minigun on the back of the original model; even then, I've still made a tank that I can be proud of! After the Wild success that was the Eco Force Bad Guy Collaboration. Here's my Part of the Exo Force good Guy Collaboration. Just in time for the 20 Year Revival. This time, I choose Ha-Ya-To's Gate Defender. A mass produced light Battle machine, most often used in Swarm attack tactics. Whilst small and having limited Operational range due to a small power Source. It's Weapon and agility more than make up for these shortcomings. For the Build I stuck to the overall proportions of the original re-using the sloped shin Armour and most notably the Shoulder Armour Pieces. The Skeleton underneath tho is completely different. Using Balljoints I managed to give the overall frame quite the Poseability. I added small Wings to the Legs and gave the Battle Machine navigation thrusters on the Legs and a massive powerful Jet Thruster in the Back to propell it forwards. The Weapon received a couple of extra Pets to make it look more complete and fleshed out. The Hand build is more or less the same with some added tooth Pieces as Armor plates and a balljoint instead of the technic Pin piece. For the Last Pic I decided to make an Action scene with my last build, the Sonic Phantom. As in the early battles Humans struggled to take out these heavy fast Behemoth's I imagine daring pilots would latch onto the Hull, hitching a ride to aim directly at the Pilot. Incapacitating the large air based Battle Machine by destroying its biggest weakness the exposed Pilot. A daring dangerous but at the time very effective Strategy.
