This session was a little different this time around
I came back as leadership not just of my cabin, but also 1 of 6 bus captains
This meant along with all the new campers looking to you for guidance, there would be moments when other leaders are looking to you for answers as well
It took a lot of courage, patience, communication and sometimes pivoting under pressure
But ultimately I was able to walk away and say I’m proud of the job I did, as this position challenged me to show up as my best self and continue to grow and work on how I intend to show up as a leader and a teammate
I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of the other leaders on my bus, and of course my wonderful head counselors and the whole Lush Life team rooting me on and believing in me in the first place. What an awesome family to have behind you. & Don’t you ever forget- BUS 2 LOVES
Thank you for the opportunity to be apart of session ‘25 and I can only dream of continuing to be apart of building what Camp has been and will become
