Welcome to yet another Let's Talk Period with Great @e_greai ! We're thrilled to have two amazing queens joining us tomorrow by 8:00 pm. Queen Ogaba Augusta Ogabanya,@ostie_official popularly known as Ostie Glam, a beauty queen, professional makeup artist, and humanitarian based in Abuja, Nigeria, and Queen Jessey Obiorah, @qwinruby a microbiologist turned baker, founder of @redspastry , and Miss Woman International representative for Lagos.
Queen Augusta will lead the conversation on the impact of period poverty on women's self-esteem and confidence, while Queen Jessey will share her insights on the importance of menstrual health and hygiene in maintaining overall well-being. We'll be exploring ways to address this critical issue and promote menstrual health.
Furthermore, we'd like to extend an invitation to all beauty queens out there to join our Beauty Queens for Period Equity initiative, where together, we can amplify our voices and push for policy changes to improve menstrual health and access to period products and facilities.
