The high street is for all year and not just for Christmas! A reminder that everyone you saw at our market this year are all local makers and traders who are selling their wares locally all year long!

Back by popular demand, the Downend Christmas Market is returning again this year thanks to our faboulous hosts at Downend Baptist Church.
Designed last year to highlight local artisans and makers, this year will be building on this to really showcase your local high street. We’ve invited local artisans, makers, and a selection of local high street stores to showcase diverse range of local makers to showcase their most affordable stocking-fillers.
Participants are challenged to cater for even the most difficult secret Santa, but also offer a range of products for a variety of purse strings. If you can buy just one present from a small seller this Christmas, you can make someone else’s year a whole lot better. If everyone buys just one locally made gift, we could save our local high-street. If everyone does just a few, it could be revolutionary.
Come along on the 22nd November from 10am-5pm and explore your local high street all in one place at Downend Baptist Church, Salisbury Road, BS16 5RA.
