I made some graphics for @bathrollerderby and the upcoming game this weekend (I’m playing! Come watch 😉 Link in their bio) It was going to be a part of a larger brand canpaign that tapped into the nostalgia of that 90s xerox flyers and it was going to have a matching poster and programme RISO printed straight onto green paper (like the good old days)
They moved in a different direction as a new head of brand took over (go check out their new content - there’s some hilarious videos coming up 🤗) but I thought I would share them on here. What do you think about this kinda style?
Oh! And these are all made analogue mostly, so at the end you can see my little collage of hand-cut derby teammates and flower crowns I made as assets for this 😆

Dead Line has officially arrived! Here’s the final artwork (with an little extra WIP image for the back cover from my darkroom time at @negative_thinking_bristol )
Their EP is now available on Spotify and Apple Music, or for every physical piece of media perchased (a CD or record) you buy, I get a cut (because this band supports local artists!) So go and support them 😉 Check out the link in @openreturnband ’s bio!
(For those interested in the technical side, it’s a double exposure done in enlarged straight onto photo paper, all produced in the dark room using analogue techniques, then scanned in to crop add the text digitally)

Something about processing raw film and just accepting all its flaws for me produces some of the most beautiful results.
Here (in order) we have some light leakage, an accidental double exposure (where the film slipped in the camera), and a purposeful double exposure in the enlarger with a lovely piece of dust trapped in there. These three are some of my favourite results from this set of negatives.
