Absolutely thrilled to pick up the Best Editing award at the IFTA's on Friday. It really was amazing to even be nominated alongside so many incredibly talented editors... let alone win!
A great night all round, with Christy also winning Best Film, Best Director and Best Casting.

Yellow Belt will be screening all day long in @immaireland as part of a program of short films curated by @dublinfilmfestival for @culturenightdub
This is a free to attend event taking place on the front lawn of IMMA on the Living Canvas screen
The screening is a lineup of fantastical and quirky films which all feature child protagonists, with a mix of Irish, international, and animation from the last few festivals to give a flavour of the breadth of DIFF’s shorts programmes.

What a result! Christy has won Best Irish Feature Film at @galwayfilm fleadh. Seeing this with an Irish audience was better than I ever could have imagined. Massive congrats to @brendanfeelgoodlost@alan_ogorman and everyone at @sleeper.films@screenireland@bbcfilmofficial teams. As for me, this is the 3rd feature film that I have worked on as editor and is also the 3rd to win this prize. It’s been a really amazing journey starting with the short film version of Christy and now getting to watch it achieve everything it has so far. Can’t wait for cinema audiences to get to see this v soon. Go on kiiiid!!!
A massive congratulations to the incredible actor and person that is Louise Lewis on her Best Actor win for Findlater at this years @fastnetfilmfestival Getting to work with Louise and @hazel.doupe on this was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had as a director and I can't wait to share the full film with everyone soon. Unbelievably excited with the news that CHRISTY will be premiering at the 75th @berlinale where it will open the Generation 14plus programme!!!
I had the most amazing time cutting this film with my boy @brendanfeelgoodlost in a selection of epic homemade edit suites across Cork City... well two... two epic homemade edit suites.
Such an amazing journey to be part of. Massive thanks to @jacklooooooong , @conorspelman and @coolhandluca for their frankly trojan work as Assistant Editors at various stages of said journey.
New @houseplantsie video out now! This track started its life as an abandoned music cue for @yellowbelt_film . Daithi was playing around with a version of Clair De Lune on the mellotron (one of the most amazing instruments of all time imho) In the end we couldn’t find a way to use it in the film but it’s found a much better life here as the intro to this belter of a track “Someone Throws a Brick”
It’s always such a pleasure creating visuals for these lads and such a delight to see them go from strength to strength with each new piece of work they put out. They truly must be one of the few beautiful things to come out of the pandemic. Aside from my son of course. But he hasn’t released any albums yet unfortunately.

FINDLATER is heading off to the UK this week where it will play this Friday at the @princecharlescinema as part of on the UK's leading film festivals @discover.film
I’m also absolutely delighted to announce that Findlater has been selected for the brilliant @offlinefilmfestival where it will play alongside a bunch of other amazing Irish short films in the "Competition Shorts" programme on Saturday the 12th of October.
