Quiet Delight is thrilled to present our collaboration with writer/director @metaxasssss : the film Sweetmeats will be premiering at SXSW this weekend on March 9!
The film went on a long journey from being produced in our humble garage studio to now premiering at such a prestigious independent film festival. It was a long shoot with many obstacles along the way, but thanks to the creative vision and thoughtful leadership of @metaxasssss and the talent of the other artists brought aboard, it will be shown to the world! Shape Island was an amazing experience!! everything from the writing, directing & voice acting to the design, the puppets and sets and textures, ooo the lighting!!! Animating and existing in the world of square, triangle and circle… it inspired me every day 🖤
Thank you to the whole crew at BixPix for putting so much love into the show, its infectious and enabled me to do my absolute best. On the last day of the season I said goodbye to the puppets, they are akin to real friends with real souls 🥹 And the biggest thanks to Drew Hodges and Jen Prokopowicz for seeing some special in me!
