They are from a spot I had the pleasure of shooting for @discovery and @bliptoys with owner/director Paul Hollingsworth of @digitalwizardsstudios . For the live action footage, I utilized a show lut that I developed using custom and off-the-shelf tools inspired by a traditional photochemical look.

For the camera nerds, I've discovered that current Sony stills cameras allow you to capture still images in SLOG3/SGAMUT3 with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. This allows the use of creative LUT transforms utilized in motion picture making for your still photographs in a relatively straight-forward way.
In this post, there are a few photograph examples.
To do this, select a picture profile that records in SLOG3/SGAMUT3 (PP8). Select HEIF with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. You will now be recording in log space with a reasonable enough amount of color information to use your favorite cine transform. Your files sizes will be one third the size of your raw images, but will still have a lot of flexibility.
