People often question how it is working with me on set so why not give you a little insight if we haven’t yet shared the studio stage together. My goal is always comfort and communication. I want every model to feel like I’m their photographer best friend that’s trying to capture them in the best possible way and that’s something I take a great deal of pride in. Whether first time or seasoned model, communication and collaboration has always produced the best shots and for that reason I’m always talking and guiding, my sets are NEVER silent. While new models are learning from me, I’m still learning from even more experienced models, hence the reason I see it as a collaborative approach. I always try to make the environment as calm and chill as possible because that is a representation of my personality. So when you see me on set dancing, singing, or even posing to show the model what I’m looking for, just know it’s all part of my efforts to make shooting with DBVISUALS a memorable one.
