Reposted @unidentifiedflyarthoe My first zine collab is a mix of creative non-fiction and fan fic as we reimagine the NYC 80s ballroom setting of FX Pose without the looming threat of the AIDS crisis. The zine is an example of radical queer imagination and a collection of reviews of not 1 nor 2 but 3 ballroom documentaries and an exploration of why silence is never an option.

Reposted @jujubeees.zines It’s here, folks! *The Music That Kept Us Going in 2025,* a new collaborative zine available for free at juliesetele.com (link in bio).
Thanks to all those who contributed their favorite music that helped them to persist, resist, and/or simply survive this year. Much love to you all! (I could only tag five of you - sorry)
I made playlists of all the recommended songs on Spotify, YouTube, Qobuz, and Tidal. QR codes to those playlists are in the zine!

Reposted @loudandqueerzine SUBMIT TO THE QUEER CREATURES ZINE
Queerness can come with feelings of being different, and for some that crosses into feeling nonhuman. Queers can feel kinship with animals, creatures, mythology, and aliens. Some even identify with objects, colors, elements, or the celestial planets and stars in space. Understanding your queerness through the lens of nonhumanity can bring clarity to parts of ourselves that we have been told aren’t natural or human.
What is a creature that represents your queerness? What nonhuman creation, living or inanimate, resonates with you?
Submit your work! Writing, art, images, sculptures, photography, essays, anything you create is eligible!
Email your work to us at [email protected]
Please include 1) your name and pronouns, 2) the name of your piece(s) and the medium or type of work, 3) anything about yourself you would like to share with our readers, 4) How our readers can find your work and patronize you directly, 5) your Instagram handle if you would like to be tagged in our posts.

The Subconscious Art Exploration with Thalo Blue is live!
https://youtu.be/WIhK9vJ2xcc
I have a meditative guided workshop called "Subconscious Art Exploration." The workshop is based on an art therapy practice called which is world-renowned for helping participants create art from their subconscious to process stuck emotions, resolve traumas, and learn about themselves. I would like to run the Subconscious Art Exploration workshop at the Queer Zine Fest as a way to offer a healing experience and specifically have participants process and understand their identities and roles in our community through artwork.
The Accessibility in Zine Making workshop is available to watch on YouTube!

The "A Spoonful of Queers" workshop recording is now live!
https://youtu.be/XBhzRsV6KWI
A comic / Zine workshop about weaving personal narratives around food and neuroqueerness, weaving in the personal with the political. The workshop addresses queerness that is not restricted to one’s gender or sexuality, but the broader understanding and use of the word as a verb to mean something that is subversive, at odds with everything around it, against the grain. Food and stories involving it are a great medium for storytelling about NeuroQueerness because of the care, labour, love, appreciation, politics and power expressed through food. Because food is inherently both deeply personal and political, it sits at the intersection of so much discourse on power, gender, labour, caste, necessity, luxury and care.
The workshop participants will be sent some helpful reading material to get their juices going beforehand. The first part of the workshop will start with introducing some relevant comic works to get some insights. This will be followed by a brainstorming and doodling session with some prompts to start thinking about their own zines / comic projects about Queerness and Food. We will then move onto 'making' and sharing our zines and comic projects and some follow up resources on 'finishing' the zines even after the workshop ends!"
