We truly could not be more grateful to @thevioletcrown_atx for being the most gracious and intentional hosts for our first Texas pop-up party. Creating transient sapphic and gender-diverse spaces literally would not be possible without the support of businesses doubling down, ready to give the community a home whether it’s during a Hairpins event or regular hours 💜
The same is true for local queer artists! @queervinylco brought us the perfect mix of house, pop, and dance music to keep the dance floor packed all night! What can we say? We’re a b*tch for a 2000s pop throwback.
Biggest thank you of all goes out to the Austin queer community—thank you for your courage to let your hair down. We are so excited to get to know you more when we’re back in August ✨
