We were blown away by the screen prints made by @queermindslondon yesterday during a creative community workshop at @gardenmuseumlearning . We spent the session thinking about weeds and how to capture them through botanical prints, inspired by the Lambeth Wilds installation by artist Katie Spragg. #creativehealth #queerminds #gardenmuseum #gardenmuseumlearning

We're excited to share that we've partnered with @psychosynthesis_trust to offer a free 10-week programme called the Exploring Anxiety Through Nature Programme! 🐝 A small group of us will meet at @surreydocksfarm every Thursday, 4-6pm, from June 11th through August 13th to connect with nature and share experiences and resources, so we can live more freely with anxiety 🦋 You can learn more and apply to take part in the programme by completing a short form (link in bio!) Applications will close once the programme is full, so we recommend applying as soon as you can 🌿 (Thank you to @odditycraft for the illustration!)

We had the best time at our 'cook and eat' workshop at the @gardenmuseum last week! @cerijoneschef always teaches us plant-based recipes that are delicious and easy to make at home 🧑‍🍳 This time, we made a radish and herb salad, spring onion and cheese soda bread, spicy cauliflower and chickpea stew and tiramisu 🥘🍴 Want to come to other Queer Minds workshops like this one? Sign up to our peer support programme through our website, or you can find our public workshops on Outsavvy (link in bio!) 🫶

We're so happy to be collaborating with @nazprojectlondon for Front to Black (F2B), a literature club celebrating the depth and breadth of Black stories 📚️ In this special edition workshop, Letters Without Words, we invite you to use any scraps, materials, mementos and photos to visually explore how the stories you've been told have shaped your queer identity as well as which stories are still unfolding ✂️ The workshop will be inspired by the book Don't Cry For Me by Daniel Black. But no pressure, no quizzes - this isn’t an English lit exam! You don’t need to finish the book (spoilers welcome). Whether you come to listen, share, or reflect, there’s space for you 🫶 See you on Wednesday 22 April from 6-8pm at @thefeministlibrary (SE15 6JL). Register at the link in our bio!
