āØnew substack piece: communal secure attachment: a systematic approach to collective liberation-integrating research, lived experience & experimentationāØš¦šš
I have been wanting to write this for a long timeāthe mission statement of my work is to cultivate communal secure attachment, and this piece begins to explain how deeply personal this framework for healing and liberation is. I share some of the books, experiences, and liberating ideas that transformed my life, as a foundation for the resources and writing to come, as these concepts have given me a sense of deep hope and purpose. š¦āØ
I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue experimenting and ideating on how we can practically co-create networks of generosity and abundance, cultivating secure attachment and calling more people into this conversation as we not only navigate the collapse of oppressive systems, but actively co-create liberating ones šāØš
the existential doula collective: first gathering š
at this time of polycrisis, cultivating existential hope is not optional ā itās how we move from collapse to collective imagination.
join us for a virtual gathering to learn from one another and compile what has helped us metabolize existential dread into meaning.
weāll sit with: how do we move from dread, helplessness, apathy & division ā into hope, agency, purpose & unity? what does this look like from the micro to the macro?
themes:
⦠scientific, spiritual & political consciousness.
⦠radical acceptance & possibilism
⦠transformative justice & pleasure liberationism
⦠taboo pathways to existential healing

I believe we need intentional organizing outside of institutional and mainstream spaces in order to decolonize and expand our collective imaginations around what is possible--and violette is a powerful opportunity to shift individual and collective consciousness through abundant love rooted in in logic, without scrutiny, surveillance and censorship.
I am excited to build a network that integrates the local and the global--come as you are. bring what youāre carrying. ā”

I am super excited to co-create the
@queering_existentialism community on @violettecommunity āŗļøāØ
A space to freely express with consent around data and attention, that isnāt content-centered, but a two way street between community builders and members, that centers collaboration & discoverability.
letās explore what existential healing looks like togetherāwe donāt have to be limited by the options that have capitalized on our attention & suffering, we donāt have to center influencer cultureāthere is a world where technology supports our connection, collective creativity outside of hierarchy & superficiality. Come build it with us, and letās radically imagine how we use the internet to nurture, rather than undermine, our humanity.

Our Creative Director @rachport interviewed a handful of users about their habits with weed and working out. They tended to pair the herb with activities ranging from weight lifting and running, to yoga, cycling, and dance. Itās not as much about performance, but awareness, enjoyment, and endurance. Using it intentionally with exercise has shifted their relationship from āpunish or fix the body,ā toward ālisten to, collaborate with, and celebrate the body,ā says @queering_existentialism š±

We donāt know how to accept weāre just a product of a chance
And less like gods but more like plants, Who canāt stop making up reasons weāre alive (Weāre alive, weāre alive, weāre alive)
You know we love to deny (To deny, to deny, to deny)
So we paint our face with intellect
Pretending weāre not curious
Too busy, super serious
Donāt have the time to do what we like (What we like, what we like, what we like)
Baby look at the sky (weāre all eating each other, Juliet Ivy).
new piece exploring: what if the core function of technology was love?āØ
i sit here and imagine a future-present where the core function of our digital tools and platforms is to increase love. i think about what it means to hold relationship at the center of design.
new on queering existentialism substack š¦ link in bio
the platforms we use for connection were not built for connection.
they were built to take advantage of our innate wiring for connectionāto manipulate our attention through advertisements, algorithms, and shadowbanning.
that contradiction sat with me for years. and itās what led me to @violettecommunity
i wrote about all of it~the experiment, the nomadic journey, the platform problem, and why the digital infrastructure of communal secure attachment is finally here~in my latest piece on substack. link in bio.

This space is especially held for those reclaiming indigenous lineages, as well as anyone longing for authentic spiritually rooted community ritual.
You will walk out of it with tools for the season of Pisces to help you live in resonance with the cosmos and reclaim your sovereignty.
