The comment section in @plestia.alaqad recent post shed light on an important aspect of the Cyprus Problem. Some of the comments were straight up propaganda, while others tried to take a more moderate, "both sides" approach. Personally I find the audacity at trying to educate someone who grew up under an occupation about an occupation tone-deaf, and honestly I had second-hand embarrassment reading some of the things people were writing. I think it's important to examine some of the claims being made.

MP Zarah Sultana has been removed and suspended from parliament after calling British prime minister Keir Starmer, a "barefaced liar.

I do not want this to be taken as sensationalism but this is a very real possibility. The US and I$r@el show no signs of backing down. Cyprus cannot be used by any party to continue this illegal war. All foreign militaries must leave.

I'm definitely not the first person to make a post like this but I think this is a critical moment for everyone in Cyprus to be reminded of some things.
