Cutie Community Podcast was created with one simple goal in mind and that’s highlight queer spaces.
Globally there are SO MANY unique queer events & we want to give the event creators a platform to share what they’ve learned running these spaces and learn more about queer events across the world.

Each queer event space that we interview is required to be trans inclusive to be interviewed for the podcast.

A few months back we set out on a mission - to create a podcast that centers queer community builders and the work they do to create queer spaces. This work isn’t easy & there is A LOT of behind the scenes planning that goes into hosting the queer events you know and love
So we wanted to make a podcast that gives folks a look behind the curtain and highlights all the amazing queer event spaces across the world!

& our second episode we interview @queernourish and learn all about historical dyke drama. 👀

We’re hosting a Trans Day of Care with @coralstorybeauty & @neverlab on June 13th from noon to 5pm & we’re looking for vendors!
The idea of this event is simple, provide free resources like electrolysis, chronic pain support (cupping, acupuncture ect) and provide free legal support and healthcare resources all under one roof.
Everything at this event would be free & donated by vendors & Coral Story will host the space. We have acupuncturists, people who provide electrolysis and other care workers already signed up to provide services
now we just need vendors to come and talk and share resources! Any orgs that work specifically on trans / queer resources are welcome to come table.

The queer community is small. All we have is each other. If you perpetuate harm, you’re harming our community.
We see way too often in community building spaces people using the importance of community as a way to excuse harmful and unsafe behavior.
Community building does not mean turning a blind eye to abuse. It means the exact opposite. It means calling out and calling in when abuse has occurred.
It means working as a team to address the harm and repair it. In order for us all to work together, we have to be safe, there has to be trust & when that trust is broken those who broke the trust have to be willing to help in the repair.
The only way through is to do the work to be a safe person for you and your community. if you’re unsafe and you’ve been told you are by your community - then do the work to repair, do the work to be a safe person, if you’re not doing that work, you’re not owed community.
