For nearly a decade, we’ve done something truly radical… Absolutely nothing with our email list.
No news updates. No product emails. Not a single mass, marketing email to the people who’ve signed up to get email news from us. We just… forgot. While we were busy making lattes, dreaming up flavors, and talking to anyone who’d call just to chat coffee blends, a little garden was quietly growing behind the scenes.
This weekend, we peeked in.
There are over 30,000 of you signed up to get emails from Never, waiting (patiently!) for us to send something. That’s a small city. In fact, there are 221 cities in Oregon with under 30,000 people.
So now we’re wondering… What should we do?
Space Taste, magical beans on the origami brewer, and absolutely nowhere else to be. Honest concrete, generous light, and a room full of people who leaned in to honor a slower, softer Sunday morning.

The lab decided to bring back The Lavender Haze for an encore this week. We asked the little drink what it thought about coming back after its successful run the past couple weeks. The Lavender Haze responded with a purple dust sneeze and then a terribly embarrassing accent “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in”.
The Lavender Haze is back. Available at both Never cafes. If your friend is popping by Never on their way, ask them to bring you a Lavender Haze. They will do it. But they will try a sip and then another sip. But they will bring you half a Lavender Haze. 💜
