No.1 Students’ Union in the UK!
Last week, we were over the moon to find out that we’ve been named the No.1 Students’ Union in the UK at the WUSCAs and it’s all thanks to you.
This award means so much to us because it’s based on student reviews – making it a genuine reflection of what you think of your Students’ Union.
But awards aside, our purpose remains the same: to support you throughout your time at Queen’s.
So whether you’ve led societies, run campaigns, volunteered, attended events, used our services, or just found a space to be yourself - you make this place what it is.
Thank you for being part of our community. We couldn’t have done it without you.

This event is a highlight of our academic calendar, where we get to hear first-hand inspirational stories of how our students enrich the student experience.
From small to large clubs and societies, to individual personal achievements and incredible dance and orchestral performances; our students truly shone last night. 🌟
A huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees – your hard work and dedication is truly inspiring!

Global leaders, podcasters, family members… Who would you most like to go into business with?
Last week, 13 student entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas in the @qsuenterprise Dragon’s Den finale, in order to win a share of £25,000 for the development of their business.
We couldn’t resist taking the opportunity to pick their brains about their dream collaborators after they’d pitched, and their answers were unsurprisingly varied!
Massive well done to all the finalists, and a huge congratulations to the three winners:
🥇 SwingSight | Oliver Woodward – £12,500
🥈 TriaTech | Pádraig MacHenry – £7,500
🥉 Fortiva Health | Alyna Jamal-Nanji – £5,000
