It's been a fantastic first month since we fired up the pizza oven for the first time. 🔥🍕
We're excited to welcome everyone over the sunny summer ahead of us. ☀
A little bit about us:
As a pub, we offer a casual dining experience serving homemade wood-fired pizza made with delicious ingredients from our estate farms and kitchen gardens. We have tables inside our cosy dining room and bar area and tables outside for when the sun is shining. No need to book as it's walk-in only, we serve food Thursday through Monday from 12 noon until 7.30pm at night. The bar is open for drinks from Thursday to Monday from noon until 10pm and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3pm until 10pm.
Our pub hosts six bedrooms all with their own individual charm. We have rooms suitable for families and those requiring easy access. We offer a hearty-cooked breakfast and breakfast buffet for those staying with us.
The pub is set in the middle of the beautiful village of Askham and from our front door, you can walk to the top of Askham Fell and see fantastic views of Ullswater and the surrounding fells.
