I recently sat down with THISDAY LIVE to talk about something I care deeply about: Bridging the gap in PR for women founders.
As part of this mission, we @officialqueenmoremi are providing free PR training for 5,000 female SME founders — because too many women are building impactful businesses but remain unseen due to a lack of visibility, positioning, and access.
In the interview, I shared why PR is no longer optional, the widening gap between brands that understand visibility and those that don’t, and how we’re equipping women with the tools and confidence to show up and be seen.
This is bigger than PR - it’s about access, opportunity, and building sustainable, visible brands.
We’re actively calling on partners, organisations, and ecosystem enablers to come on board. If you’re in a position to support through funding, resources, media, or strategic collaboration, there’s real impact to be made - and we can’t do it alone.
Applications are still ongoing. Click the link in bio to apply.

Global fashion brand GUESS officially opened its store at The Palms Mall, Lekki - a significant step in strengthening the brand’s footprint in the Nigerian market.
As Principal Consultant at @euphoriquepr I’m proud that our team supported this launch through strategic public relations outreach and curated guest engagement, ensuring the brand’s entry resonated with the right audience and reflected its global positioning.

I remember when I was in grad school at USC in LA, I had a close friend in another city, and she asked to borrow some money from me. I resolved to help her because I believed she was trustworthy and also, she had never asked for this sort of favour before so I believed that it was a genuine need.
But something strange began to happen. Every time I would get on my laptop to try to transfer the money, my entire body would freeze. It felt like I was in an invisible strait jacket and like a heavy load had been dropped on my head. When this would happen, I’d shake it off and attend to other school tasks, then I’d try again. And it was the same loop for several days. On the last day I attempted the transfer, uncontrollable tears ran down my face. For no justifiable reason. That night, I asked Jesus why this was happening - that although I wanted to help, I felt prevented from doing so.
The following night I got a call from my mom who I hadn’t told anything about what was going on. Then she proceeded to tell me about a series of dreams she had been having where someone was asking me for money and doing incantations, saying “whatever I say she must do it.” She mentioned that if I transferred the money to my friend, it would serve as a gateway for more evil. She proceeded to describe my friend’s stature, and even told me the kinds of clothes she normally wears, and her favorite color. Meanwhile my mom never even knew about this friend at all. It was a 9-hour time difference as she was in Nigeria at the time, and I marveled at how God’s revelations defy time zones.
This incident taught me to always run my decisions by Jesus - no matter how mundane they might seem to be.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God…” - 1 John 4:1
The experience also reminded me about how much God loved me and made time for me even in the midst of my busy schedule.
Welcome to my #JesusMoments
This will be a series, as the Holy Spirit is leading me to share my experiences.. in the hopes that they might help someone. Till next time…

“If you’re the smartest person in the room, then you’re in the wrong room.”
It’s not just a saying…it’s so true!
Apart from moderating, I learned so much from all the speakers at the 2026 BusinessDay Luxury Conference.
Too often, as PR professionals, we tend to remain within spaces that are closely tied to our industry. In doing so, we miss key opportunities to explore and impact other sectors - places where we can broaden our knowledge, spark new ideas, and share our expertise for meaningful impact.
This year, I’ve resolved to be more intentional about being in more eclectic spaces.
Shout out to my number one cheerleader for the unconditional support, always (slide 2 😁).
Grateful.

It was an honour moderating the BusinessDay Luxury Conference 2026.
Speakers from diverse industries shared so many thought-provoking insights on the intersection of sustainability, identity, and culture within Nigeria’s evolving luxury sector.
My biggest takeaway was the urgent need for a shift from individualism to a more collaborative culture among creatives and business owners. This transition is essential if we are to build a luxury ecosystem that is sustainable, scalable, profitable, and globally competitive.
Thank you to @jasonporsheceo , @iyadunni__gbadebo , @seroikogho , and @ugonnaibe for sharing your wisdom so honestly and generously.
And special thanks to @businessdayng for having me.
