I started this creation idea at @roosterwalk when I had a charcuterie board of veggies and fruit to nourish myself and others. 🥒🍇 I took a photo of what I wrote with the cucumbers and saved it for a rainy day in the life of a content creator. 📸 For a school project, I had to create a logo with my name in it and I remembered this photo. 🏫 I am in love with the name coined at Rooster Walk and how much it makes me smile, the colors used to make it vibrant and bright like my personality. 😄🎨✨

I graduated and secured a meaningful role in music at a nonprofit. I'm making further moves to return stronger than before my trauma in 2024. A wave of determination has surged through my life, and I feel your presence all around me. I can hear your encouragement to persevere through trials and tribulations. 🫂
Having overcome brain trauma, grief, losing 200 lbs, and cancer, I am proud of how far I've come and what I’ve achieved. I am falling in love with the woman who has metamorphosed into a phoenix risen from the ashes—one of strength, love, and light, with compassion and a drive to build communities by providing access to art and music that facilitate healing. 🔥
I know you are watching over me, helping me navigate these waves and build the submarine I need for this journey. It's been one tidal wave after another, but I hope I am now past the storm, heading toward a new dawn. I needed this victory. 🙌

This is really happening...I am utilizing my degree and skills at a higher capacity for the community of art and music in Wilmington. I really needed a win this week. I am UP IN THE CLOUDS!!!

Encore’s Spring 2026 issue is officially here, and we’re proving that Print is Punk. We are taking over The Eagle’s Dare this Thursday, April 30th, to celebrate the music and voices of the Cape Fear.
We need a dedicated crew to join us today to help make this night a success. If you want to support local independent journalism and the Wilmington creative scene, we want you on the team!
How You Can Help:
Early Crew (10 AM – 12 PM): Physical setup, furniture moving, and floor layout.
The Front Line (5:30 PM – 10 PM): Manage the donation table and guest check-ins.
The Hustle (5:30 PM – 10 PM): Run the raffle and Encore merch table.
Late Night Vendor/Load-out Backup: Assist vendors with any final needs or load-out questions starting at 10 PM.
The Closer (10 PM – 11 PM): Final post-show breakdown and venue reset.
