This morning Leonardo found some morels that popped up directly behind the second L in the Hollywood sign. So here we have ricotta gnocchi with morels, English peas, green garlic soubise, sherry and the nice Parmesan. This and other true Hollywood stories, tonight at QS.

On special tonight at QS! Ricotta cheesecake with @tamaifamilyfarms strawberry glazed strawberries - presented deli style @zuckermans_farm asparagus bars with ricotta, guanciale, fior di latte, red onion, lemon and pecorino. Zuckerman asparagus again! But this time with our preserved Meyer lemon dressing, fried wild rice, mint and fiore sardo I find it hard to believe that we invented asparagus zoodles. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

A little off-menu pasta special for the dining room this evening because these dandelion greens aren’t gonna sell themselves - ricotta gnocchi, bitter greens, soffritto, chili butter and pecorino. Ask your server. SHRIMP BEANS ARE BACK - gigante beans, rock shrimp, pancotto, pickled nardellos, mint & bottarga Passion fruit sorbet, seeds and all, is an excellent way to end your meal. It’s garnished with perfect tangerines from Laura’s tree and tangerine agrumato. Make it orange! Tonight at 5:00

When it comes to the dreaded puntarelle, history dictates that you should put the anchovy on there and leave it that. But for us, wintertime in LA means the cooking goes a bit hodgepodge. Enter Puntarelle alla Portia - @the_garden_of_ puntarelle, fennel, pickled jimmy nardellos, Caravaglio family caper dressing, Wadaman sesame, mint and fiore sardo. New Sicilian slice is farmer Wayne’s broccoli di ciccio, red sauce, QS sausage, mozz, pecorino, sesame crust and our very own fresno chili condiment. So far the feedback on this one is “tastes like pizza” Speaking of hodgepodge, Hannah has Dreyer-fied our ice cream section with a new rocky road coupe. Not to be missed! Did you know QS turned 4 years old last night? It’s true! We opened our doors for the very first time on NYE of 2021. Congrats and heaps of gratitude to our entire team for another great year down here on Portia Street. Thank you to @bill_addison and @jenn_harris_ @latimesfood for recognizing us as one of our city’s best restaurants in 2025. The celebrations continue tonight with @astrea_caviar on the bars - doors at 5:00.

What an incredible end to week one of #8NightsAtBirdieGs, presented by @resy and what an unforgettable start it’s been. The energy this week, in the kitchen, in the dining room, from our guests, from our team — has been nothing short of inspiring. Night 4 closed out Week 1 with a powerhouse trio: @wyliedufresne of @stretchpizzanyc and Aaron Lindell & @hannahziskin of Quarter Sheets. Their menu was pure joy. Highlights included Wylie’s iconic XXL Mozzarella Stick, alongside Quarter Sheets’ vibrant Grilled Cone Cabbage with chickpea miso and the team’s collaborative Leek & Truffle Pizza that brought the room to a standstill. And of course, dessert didn’t pull any punches: Wylie’s Black Pepper Cruller with Parmesan Ice Cream and Quarter Sheets’ stunning Princess Cake were the perfect finish. Shout out to our Birdie G’s team — thank you for going into this week with so much heart. Your resilience and hospitality are felt in every service. Thank you to all our guests that came out this week to support! Week 1 is wrapped. Week 2, we’re coming for you.
