Massive congratulations to Queenstown local Reece Everett on an incredible result at the iXS Downhill Cup in Fort William 🇬🇧🔥 Reece has just claimed 4th place in the Under 17 Pro Men’s category, competing against some of the fastest young downhill riders in the world and doing it in style with his new team, VIRIS Nukeproof Racing 👊 Fort William is one of the most iconic and demanding downhill tracks on the planet, making this result even more impressive. Huge effort, huge talent, and an awesome achievement. Check out the latest work of art trail upgrade up in the Coronet trails 👌🔥 Huge thanks to the crew at Elevate Trail Building for finishing the new Zoot → Groot link, helping tidy up one of the key intersections in the network and making the flow through this section way smoother for riders. Sometimes it’s the little details and connector sections that make the biggest difference to how a trail network feels and rides. A temporary sign has been installed for now, with permanent signage coming. Join us for our final QMTBC Family Ride Night of the season as we roll down Hammy’s Track together for an afternoon packed full of bikes, laughs, games and good times with the MTB community. This family ride also helps kick off the Atlas QMTBC End Of Season Party later that evening. 📅 Saturday 16 May 🕐 Meet at Skyline from 1pm 🚲 Ride rolls out at 1.30pm 🎉 Finish at Atlas from 3.30pm–5pm This year’s theme is Pirates of the Caribbean, so we’d love to see families getting involved with the fancy dress theme. Dress up your crew, decorate your bikes, throw on an eye patch, and bring your best pirate energy for the ride. Families and groms can meet at Skyline from 1pm for a 1.30pm roll out, cruising down Hammy’s Track before finishing at Atlas from 3.30pm to 5pm.
