Was chatting with a good friend recently, and was telling him how I had an off day, the odds weren’t in my favor, had some gear failure and he responded with this,
“We do things like this because we enjoy them. They are hobbies. Passions. It’s ok to have off days. We know how much work you put into them. Don’t stress too much.”
Chatting with my fellow media friends, some of us have been in the same boat and haven’t realized it. Don’t get caught up chasing perfection where you forget to have fun. We’re doing this cause we enjoy it. I understand trying to stay with the times and trends but, make sure you’re doing something at the end of the day for you. Making a video or taking a photo that will make you happy.
To the media homies, your killing it, don’t let views and likes dictate your work.
