Three years ago, the word “athlete” felt too big for someone like me. I thought it was only for the elite — not a midlife woman just trying to get stronger and learning to track macros. But after three years of intentional, disciplined training, I finally feel it.
At the 2025 Open/Masters Ontario Provincial Championship, I hit:
• S: 105kg / 231.5lbs
• B: 52.5kg / 115.7lbs
• D: 117.5kg / 259lbs
• Total: 275kg / 606lbs
• GL: 68.69
🥇 Best Female Master 2 – 57kg Class
The result from this meet ranked top 10 of the CPU All Time 57kg Women’s Master 2 Classic Powerlifting Rankings - a milestone I never imagined achieving.
