Was a great day for the Purus team who took part in @hackneymoves 1/2 marathon yesterday. It was a tad warm in the ☀️ to say the least but we all made it to the end in one piece.
You can’t beat the atmosphere that @hackneymoves create and feels like you are at a festival before, during and after. The crowds were exceptional and well done to @stjohn_ambulance for the support on a very busy day for them.

Medal Monday is finally back! 🏅
Was a great feeling to back in the 🏃🏽 game again. It’s been a while since closed running races have occurred and what better place than London to revive it. The @officialbighalf is a half marathon running the 1st half of the @londonmarathon route and there definitely was a buzz at the starting line.
Massive thanks to the organisers and volunteers to get the event up and running and of course the crowds cheering the whole way along the course. 🙌🏼

Leg day ✅ Back day ✅ Chest day ✅ adductor day 🤷🏽♂️
Let’s be honest no one goes into the gym for groin day but these muscles are massively underrated in how they can help with rehab and performance.
The adductors are a group of five muscles with the their primary role bringing the thigh towards the midline of the body aka the ‘thighmaster’.
However probably their most important functional role is as a stabiliser and contributer to balance of the pelvis and body posture on standing, walking and running.
Here are 8 exercises for these group of muscles that are designed to condition and strengthen the area. They progressively get harder so start at number 1 and see how you get on.
1️⃣ - Adductor squeezes. 5 x 5 sec holds
2️⃣ - Straight leg adductor squeezes. 5 x 5 sec holds
3️⃣ - Adductor squeezes with leg lift
3 x 10 reps
4️⃣ - Straight leg lift with adductor squeezes
3 x 10 reps
5️⃣ - Side plank 5 x 5 secholds
6️⃣ - Side plank with knee drive 3 x 8 reps
7️⃣ - Short lever Copenhagens 5 x 5 sec holds
8️⃣ - Long lever Copenhagens 5 x 5 sec holds

How many times have you been obsessed with finding the perfect technique 🏋🏾♀️ Or trying to find the right posture 💻or best way to sleep 😴? It’s very easy to go down some rabbit holes when trying to find answers to these questions.
Spending hours on Google and social media can over complicate things and you end up with more questions than answers. This is where we can end up not doing anything at all from too much info - paralysis by analysis.
Best thing is to simplify it all and take away the outside noise. Go with what feels comfortable as this will generally mean you are more relaxed = less tension = less pain.
