👨‍🌾 Meet the Vendors & Producers - Our newest project N°1 - Vincenzo from Puro - Creamy Tomato Risotto ( 🔗 link in bio for recipe) 🫥 Transparency, what is transparency? To us, in the context of food production and consumption, and the relationship between producer and consumer, this is a means to connect you with the people and stories behind the products on our shelves 👉👈. We believe that the food we buy, from local apples at the farmer’s market, to rare delicacies from far flung lands in specialist stores (and everything in between), all have a story to tell of how they find their way into our shopping baskets. 🛒 This is why we invited our suppliers, partners, and friends to visit us with a recipe close to their heart ❤️ , something they love to cook, whether it features their own creations or simply ingredients they are passionate about. The idea is simple: listen to their story while watching them cook 🍳. All recipes will be available on our blog (link in bio) so you can bring them to life at home, with products from our shelves or not. 🎙️ Our first guest, Vincenzo from @puroimport , shared a recipe he often prepares for his kids. And after tasting it ourselves, we fully understand their excitement whenever it’s on the menu 😋. His creamy tomato risotto is everything you want in a comforting dish, minimalistic, easy to prepare, crowd-pleasing, and absolutely delicious… This project is very dear to us, and we’ll do our best to keep a steady rhythm, introducing you to as many wonderful people as we can. It’s also a true labor of love, so we hope you’ll take the time to meet your favorite producers and vendors, and enjoy discovering the stories behind the food on your plate 🙏.
