Bahraini-Danish Bloom Desert X AlUla 2026 Activated by sunlight, touch and movement. Two large wheels, turned by visitors, drive the kinetic sculpture to cast shifting shadow works across the floor. Bloom moves and breathes, echoing the native plant forms around it. At monumental scale, like the rock formations of AlUla, the work is at once a playground, a machine, and a part of the desert. The Living Pyramid is part of an ongoing series Denes has developed across decades. Each one specific to its place, its people, its environment.
