We are pleased to present “The Skin of a River, 2026” by Boris Acket as part of “The Open Wound” exhibition, a site-specific installation commissioned by Artsa @_artsa.co @selcanatilgann The installation is on view at Palazzo Nani Bernardo through May 27. Inspired by Heraclitus’ famous saying, “You can never stand in the same river twice,” this kinetic installation reflects the constant flux of time and memory. The unframed work is made from a fabric that reshapes itself in response to visitors and environmental changes, embodying a lived moment that is always becoming. Accompanying it are two still works, The Skin of a River, Framed — Inota I and Inota II, which capture the transient beauty of the fabric, preserving its history of movement and transformation. Artist: Boris Acket @boris.acket Creative Direction: Boris Acket & Luiza Guidi Creative Engineering: Merijn Versnel, Bob Koper Typography Design: Studio Airport Title: Freely after Susan Murphy Roshi’s ‘Alive in the Skin of a River’s Flow’ for Emergence Magazine. Thank you @the.kunst.agency for making this possible #borisacket #TheSkinofaRiver #venice

Most people discuss success in the art world. Few discuss what it actually takes to build it. Pilar Corrias opened her gallery in 2008, in the middle of a global financial crisis, at a time when others were closing their doors. She chose not to wait for the “right moment” but to create one. Her approach reflects a deeper shift in how galleries operate today: less about reacting to the market, more about shaping it. From backing artists early to taking risks at the primary level, her perspective reminds us that building something meaningful in the art world requires more than strategy. It requires belief. In conversation with Pilar Corrias, Daria Borisova explores what it means to lead with instinct, support artists long-term, and build a gallery that stands the test of time. 🔗 Read the full interview via the link in bio. #PilarCorrias #ArtMarketVoices #ContemporaryArt #ArtGalleries #MutualArt

Most magical experience on Thursday dancing under “Einder,” the stunning 70-meter installation by Dutch artist Boris Acket @boris.acket ! This moving fabric piece acts like a “breathing roof” over the crowd, creating a vibe that’s both intimate and expansive. Inspired by a humpback whale breaking the surface, it truly brings people together in a special way. Witnessing this collaboration between Boris Acket and Fred again.. @fredagainagainagainagainagain was so special —it felt like the merging of so many important parts of UK music, art and community! “Einder” will be a central part of Fred again..’s USB002 shows at London’s Alexandra Palace End of February đŸȘ© Thank you @the.kunst.agency ❀ #Einder #BorisAcket #FredAgain #london
