Blending traditional forms with contemporary movements, his selections move fluidly through cumbia, salsa, Latin funk and soul—bridging archive and evolution with ease.
As host of Sonidero Sessions on Love Will Save the Day FM, Puma continues to champion the depth and influence of Latin music—centering its roots while opening space for new interpretations. A fitting close to the takeover, grounded, expansive and full of intent.

Gnonnas Pedro & his Dadjes Band - Feso Jaiye
The incredible Gnonnas Pedro from Benin produced some amazing music crossing styles and languages, from Highlife to Salsa and Cuban Son, he played trumpet and saxophone and had an international hit with Feso Jaiye - appearing on the Colombian Tropical label here backing Sale el Toro (another banger) demonstrating the worldwide reach he had in the 70s - dive into his work via a 2025 compilation @analogafricarecords have lovingly put out and also check the disco rockabilly of Pas de Pétard to understand just how varied his output was 💙🔥

Storming mad & devilish Cumbia 😈 pure class - Jaime Ley was one of the first Cumbia artists I ever came across and listened to, amazing voice and soul in his tunes but this is a stand out - amazingly a B side but with a great A side too on this @discosfuentes press x
