A COLOSSAL WEEKEND 2026
Puke Wolf have carved out a space where brutal vulnerability becomes a strength and a driving force. Based in Aarhus, Denmark, the band have steadily built attention around music that places emotional exposure at the centre of its impact. Through Interstice (2022, self-released), Puke Wolf established a sound rooted in tension and fragility, earning recognition beyond Denmark for work that refuses emotional distance. Their full-length, Descend (February 2026, self-released), marks the continuation of that trajectory with collaborations and contributions from renowned Danish acts like Demersal, Kollapse, and Meejah and has been praised by both Danish and international music critics and media.
What defines Puke Wolf is the way openness becomes pressure. Vocals arrive stripped of protection, carrying grief, doubt, and urgency as something lived rather than performed. Guitars and drums move in unstable cycles, allowing quiet moments to exist only briefly before they are overtaken by force. The band’s music thrives on imbalance, where tenderness and violence are allowed to coexist without hierarchy. Rather than seeking release, Puke Wolf let discomfort remain present, turning emotional strain into something physical, direct, and difficult to look away from.
WHAT TO EXPECT A Puke Wolf performance feels like standing intimately close to something unravelling. Quiet passages crack open without warning, surges of sound hit with sudden force, and the room is pulled into a shared state of tension and release. The band perform with total commitment, turning vulnerability into something collective and physical. It is intense, intimate, and often overwhelming, leaving a lasting impression that goes well beyond volume or spectacle.

Our Swedish run was awesome!
Great to be out playing with other great bands and getting new friends. Thats what its all about. This "scene" is so amazing and unique - its so wild that you can meet people for the first time in your life and immediately feel a strong bond of friendship and even though years go by, its the same feeling meeting up again. These shows was a confirmation of just that - and we will all meet again at some point and we cant wait for that.

Another busy photo weekend starts soon. Last weekend I had the pleasure of covering @gallows_metalfestival for the festival itself. It was the second edition of the festival. The line-up was great, the people were great and the music was great. It was especially a big pleasure seeing the collab show with @demersalband and @puke_wolf where @maisoonyoungovlisen from @meejahmusic also came and delivered some magic. This collab made sense on so many levels and I hope I get to experience it again
