❏ Amelie Duchow [@amelieduchow ] The german audiovisual artist Amelie Duchow explores in her works the experimental terrain on the relationship between sound, space and visual perception. Her conceptual approach unfolds as an interplay of subtle, multilayered microsounds and intensive electronic structures, transmuted into immersive visual articulations that challenge perceptual boundaries. She is a member of the transnational database and network of women working in the realms of electronic music and visual arts Female Pressure. Her debut album TONSTICH has been released on Sync, audiovisual platform and label she runs together with the media artist Marco Monfardini. Together they build the project SCHNITT working in the transitional area between electronic music, digital art and technology. ❏ Sho Tokura [@shotokura ] After studying audio engineering in Los Angeles in the 2000s, they began their career working in local live venues and production environments. Upon returning to Japan, they joined a contemporary art gallery, where they encountered a wide range of artistic practices while expanding their own multifaceted activities rooted in the DIY spirit cultivated in LA, including overseas releases and organizing invitations and Japan tours for international artists. They have also worked extensively as a recording engineer. Since 2021, they have been developing live performances that weave together real-time visual expression centered on TouchDesigner and the resonant textures of drone music. Today, they are active both in Japan and internationally, creating meticulously composed audiovisual experiences grounded in IDM. In 2025, they launched PRISM, a project that reflects their personal aesthetic vision. At the foundation of their practice is the creation of a “safe zone” through shared space.
