Presenting my new-to-me family car, a 2017 Mercedes-Benz E400 Wagon (S213) in Piedmont Green Metallic (kallaitgrünmetallic; 997) over Nut/Espresso Brown Leather. It is no Porsche, and it is certainly less cooler than the Cayman it replaces. But I have wanted an E Class Wagon for a while, and I am happy to have found this one for my next chapter of life. I fell in love with the E Class Wagon in 2018, when I rented an E400 in Germany. I had originally booked a diesel Audi A6 Avant, but the gentleman at Sixt said it was out and offered me the “much faster petrol one”. I took his word on the Autobahn and was seriously impressed by how capable and comfortable it was. Since then, I had a growing fascination for the E Class Wagon, taking a photo of nearly every example I would see on the road. Unlike in Europe, they are especially uncommon here in America. But those who do own them here are fiercely loyal. As I wanted a larger car to go on road trips with my family, I decided it was time to fulfill this obsession and look for an E Class Wagon—specifically an S213 generation (2017-2020) pre-All Terrain. I also wanted one in a unique color. The E Class inventory is mostly grayscale. But for 2 years only, Mercedes offered Piedmont (Kallaite) Green Metallic and Dakota (Citrine) Brown Metallic. Very few of these were ordered, but I wanted one of these. After a few months of searching nationwide everyday, I learned of a Piedmont Green Metallic example that was just traded in at my local dealer @mercedesbenzmanhattan out of all places. It hadn’t even hit the site yet. But it had $20K in all the right options (for an $82K sticker in 2017), a clean accident-free history, was always serviced by @mercedesbenzmanhattan , and was free of underbody rust. So I bought it. In the last 3 months since, I have taken it on road trips to Boston, Montreal, and Quebec City with my family. And it has been wonderful for all of us. I can see why owners swear by them. As for my journey with Porsche, I will be back. When the time is right, I hope to get into a Cayman GT4 or Boxster Spyder. Now that and an E Class Wagon would be my ideal @twocarsolution . One down, one more to go. #PTSRS

Truly grateful and honored to be featured by @porsche today as part of its 75 Years of Porsche “Dream in Full Colour” campaign. For this amazing opportunity, Porsche AG released a short film about my story with @ptsrs on their main YouTube channel, global Instagram page, and global website. It is quite surreal to see all of this, and reflect on the incredible people I have met over the years of @ptsrs . Thank you to all of you in the @ptsrs community for your continued enthusiasm behind my passion for colorful cars. @ptsrs has fundamentally changed how I view the impact of color on not just cars, but the broader world around us. And I hope it injects even a small dose of positivity into your everyday lives, as color has done for me. A sincere thanks as well to my New York City-based friends @brianja , @lady.gt3 , @nycfrancis , @deweykang , @jamesserafino , and @olivia_serafino_ for graciously taking time out of your evenings to join me with your very colorful cars for this project. Finally, thank you to the wonderful teams at @porsche and @bbdo_germany for sharing my story and making this project truly fun in the process. Eternally grateful to everyone involved for making this nerd’s dream come true. #PTSRS #Porsche #DreamInFullColour

Thank you to all of you who joined me for the first PTSRS Cars & Coffee in New York City with my friend @porschestimmung . I barely took photos, but here are a few I managed to snap. It was a chilly Saturday morning in front of @laughingmancoffee . We had a short window of clear skies before rain and snow were forecasted for the afternoon. Yet gratefully, hundreds of you brought your friends and family for the prospects of a good time. I hope we delivered on this. Automotive highlights included my friend @doobooloo ’s De Tomaso Guarà, our reader @wondering ’s green ‘88 Safari-style 911, a reader’s brand new PTS Aetna Blue 718 Spyder RS, and a stunning BMW M8 Convertible in Individual Liquid Copper. Later, @ryanfriedmanmotorcars rolled in with a 964 Gemballa RSR 3.8 in Pearl White. My friend Nick Murray @droppedbaby1 came through from Connecticut in his Mamba Green Macan, and our reader Aren @welcometoexcellence from Toronto, Canada in his Taycan. @lady.gt3 and @nycfrancis showed us that snow looks good on their PTS Lighter (Jade) Green GT3. And the Sepia Brown 912 looked so good against the red brick buildings in that block. Dogs were plentiful—even a robotic one to bring some dystopian fun. I have wanted to do something small for our New York-based readers here for some time. While February is typically quiet for car events around here, I learned recently that my friends @rhodabueno and @monchter were visiting from San Francisco for the weekend. I wanted them to have a good time, so with Duane, I decided to just go for it. The rest was thanks to everyone who came through. Many readers have asked when the next one will be. Grateful as I am, I don’t know yet. But whenever or wherever that may be, I hope to see you around at Vol 02. - Will #PTSRS x #PorscheStimmung

🇺🇸 Presenting this very special Paint to Sample Riviera Blue (rivierablau; non-metallic UNI; 39E) 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package. Very excited to announce that this example will be offered at @broadarrow_auctions The Porsche Air|Water Auction 2026 this upcoming Saturday, April 25th at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, California. This example is chassis #048 (VIN: WP0CA2A12FS800048), and is now offered with only 1,267 miles. Riviera Blue is a historic Porsche color, originally offered on the 911 (993) and 968 in ‘94 and ‘95. According to @broadarrow_auctions , there are 4 known Riviera Blue 918 Spyder examples in North America, 3 of which feature the Weissach Package. Beyond the special color, this example sports the optional $84,000 Weissach Package, whose unique lightweight components and omissions of certain features help shed 90 lbs of weight from the standard 918. As well, this example features $7,200 in Special Wishes (CXX) options. On the exterior, we find Forged Magnesium Wheels in Satin Black (normally offered in Silver or Platinum), Acid Green brake calipers, and Exposed Carbon Fiber Roof and A/B Pillars. Inside, we find a Leather Interior in Onyx Black with Silver Accents. The Lightweight Bucket Seats feature Silver Leather Piping and Alcantara Seat Centers, while the Seat Belts in Black feature Silver Accent Stripes. While the Weissach Package normally comes with an Alcantara Steering Wheel, this example substitutes that with Leather, and also adds back in Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, Automatic Air Conditioning, and HomeLink (which are normally omitted from the Weissach Package). Previously serviced at Porsche Downtown LA, this example also received a $43,000 major service at Porsche Woodland Hills in February 2026, featuring a new rear main seal at 1,266 miles, new Michelin tires, and recommended engine and mechanical work. Included with the car are its manuals, indoor car cover, and charger in addition to a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report. What are your thoughts on this PTS Riviera Blue 918? 🇯🇵 Best @luftgekuhlt ever. Over a decade in the works. Great to vibe with friends from around the world against this incredible backdrop. Tokyo will be hard to top. Also, anyone know the story behind the 993 Turbo in slide 5? Appeared to be a recommission in all the best ways, and with only 68 kms (!). My favorite of the show, along with the Wimbledon Green Metallic 964 RS N/GT Macau car (slide 7). #PTSRS

🇧🇪 A BMW M3 Touring in a Porsche color. Presenting this stunning BMW Individual Macadamia Metallic (U80) BMW M3 Competition xDrive (G81) Touring, originally delivered to @bmwsneyers near Antwerpen, Belgium. Captured here with a matching Macadamia Metallic Porsche 911 (997.2) Targa 4S by @dennisnoten , this wonderful @twocarsolution belongs to @ptsrs reader @louis.vanbavel . And there’s a special story behind this pairing. Louis commissioned this M3 Touring in Macadamia Metallic as an homage to this exact Porsche 997.2 Targa 4S, which was ordered new in 2008 from @porschecentreantwerpen by his mother. Dennis writes, “It was specced with care in the beautiful colour scheme of Macadamia Metallic with a Black/Sand Beige interior. That car was sold 5 years later in 2013 to its second owner, but in 2020 came up for sale again. Louis immediately recognized the car (despite it being on horrible Turbo replica wheels) and bought it back. He then contacted the owner they originally sold the car to and was able to buy back the stunning 19” Carrera Sport wheels.” Macadamia Metallic made its debut as a standard color on the Porsche 911 (997.1 and 997.2), Boxster/Cayman (987.2), and briefly on the Cayenne (957). On Porsches, it is currently offered as a Paint to Sample color on the 911, Taycan, Macan, and Panamera. On BMWs, it is available through the BMW Individual program. Beyond the special color, this example sports optional 19/20” M Dual-Spoke Silver Forged 825M Wheels, paired with optional Red Brake Calipers (replacing standard Blue). To match the 997 as exactly as possible, this M3 also sports body colored roof and mirrors, aluminum window trims and roof rails, and clear glass all around in lieu of privacy glass. Inside, we find a special request BMW Individual Black/Midrand Beige Full Merino Leather Interior with Criollo Brown Stitching, paired with Piano Black trim. Many thanks to @dennisnoten for sharing the photos of this dream @twocarsolution . I hereby submit a petition to @bmwusa to bring the M3 Touring to North America. #PTSRS

🇩🇪 An Audi RS 3 in a Porsche color. Presenting @ptsrs reader @baldur1598 ’s Audi Exclusive Macadamia Metallic (M8W) Audi RS 3 Sportback (8Y), currently based near Nürnberg, Germany. Macadamia Metallic is a modern Porsche color, having originally been offered as a standard color on the 911 (997.1 and 997.2), Boxster/Cayman (987.2), and briefly on the Cayenne (957). On Porsches, it is offered as a Paint to Sample color on the 911, Taycan, Macan, and Panamera. On Audis, it is available through the Audi Exclusive program. @baldur1598 shared his story behind finding the car, writing: “I wanted something out of the box. Something other than the VAG-rainbow of white, black or grey. It still had to be subtle though. That‘s what I love about my dad‘s Violet Chromaflair 996: it‘s subtle but still really colorful. I’ve wanted a dark green car for the longest time. They just look so good with a tan or brown interior and with neodyme or silver wheels. Sporty, yet classy and timeless. But your page inspired me to also look at colors that I didn‘t have in mind initially. So when I saw this car for sale at a dealership about an hour drive away, I thought why not take a look at it? Seeing the car in person, I was just blown away by it. Gold flakes in the sun, slight hues of rose gold under street lights, and almost black from some vantage points.” Beyond the special color, this example sports the 19” 5-Y-spoke Design Wheels in Silver with a set of winter tires during the colder months. And on the warmer months, it sports its original 19’’ 10-Cross-Spoke Design Wheels in Dark Gray Matte Finish (pictured at the very end). As well, it features the optional RS Sport Exhaust System with Black Tips. Inside, we find the standard Leather/Dinamica Interior in Black with Black Stitching, paired with the optional RS Bucket Seats. Many thanks to @baldur1598 for sharing with me the story of his Macadamia RS 3. A great story to follow up on yesterday’s Macadamia GT3 RS. 3RS ➡️ RS3. Just a wee bit of shuffling letters and we have a proper @twocarsolution . #PTSRS
