Miss being out on track with the track nuts/fam. This video brought back a lot of memories from the RWB x Friends event that Mark hosted for us ā crazy to think itās been almost a year already.
Life changes fast, and sometimes we donāt realize weāre living the āgood old daysā until the moment has already passed.
Defintiely makes me appreciate all shared memories, track days, conversations, laughs, and meals shared with this crew even more - really grateful for every one of you.
Also, the audio is spot on: itās not chaos (not even a bit), itās all zen for me while out on track. Likely why Iām also slow AF. š¤£ā ļø

Finally got the @corsair x @fanatec_official ClubSport sim rig fully built over the weekend⦠and Iām lucky to have gotten some help from the fam (@rhodabueno@jakeushijima@alfonsoa__@hiiimtabitha ) šš¼š
Big upside right from the start ā being able to check everything out in person at Corsair Valley Fair was a game changer. Got hands-on with the hardware, worked with their team to spec the right setup, and even lucked into a 30% in-store deal that made it all feel like a no-brainer.
Now⦠the reality check:
This thing is a UNIT. Between all the boxes on the pallet, youāre basically moving ~300 lbs of gear before you even start. The build itself? Not exactly plug-and-play. Some of the metal tolerances were tight, so lining things up and getting screws in cleanly took patience (and a bit of finesse to not ruin threading).
The biggest miss though ā the electronics install onto the rig. Pedals, shifter, wheel base⦠none of them came with the hardware needed to mount onto the rig. Ended up making a Home Depot run and guessing my way through sizing, which definitely slowed things down more than it should have.

End result? Worth it. šÆ
The rig looks insane, feels legit, and completely transforms the experience. Just wish Corsair closed the loop on the āconvenienceā factor. If youāre selling a full ecosystem ā it should truly be fully turnkey. Thatās the real value prop vs piecing it together yourself.
Still⦠for a casual like me getting into sim racing, this setup is perfection.

Back at it again š
Thereās something special about kicking off the 2026 @gtworldchallengeamerica season @racesonoma with our Porsche family - fast cars, loud engines, and even better people. What started as a simple day at the races has turned into a tradition I look forward to every single year.
Grateful for this crew and the community we continue to build together, right here in our backyard.
Big thank you to Robbie for always showing up for us - not just as a good friend, but as someone who genuinely supports us and the Motorsport community.

GT4RS (1:57.5) vs. GT3RS (1:57.6) at Thunderhill East (bypass) ā only 0.10 sec apart (for now⦠27 laps of seat time in).
Despite the significantly increased sense of grip in the 3RS, I was surprised to see I was still carrying more speed through some of the same corners in the 4RS. It also shows how much margin there still is in the 911 ā I never quite felt like we were truly leaning on the edge of its grip yet.
Itās also fun seeing how differently each car generates speed around the track. The aero on the GT3RS clearly helps plant the car through high-speed sections, but that same downforce also comes with a tradeoff in top-end speed on the straights. Meanwhile, the mid-engine GT4RS has that playful balance that makes it fun to carry momentum through corners.
Worth noting: I havenāt driven a rear-engine 911 on track since ~2022, so thereās definitely a bit of a learning curve after going all-in on developing my driving in the Cayman platform.
Still fascinating how different these two cars are while ending up at essentially the same lap time.
All that said, I am feeling very fortunate to have the chance to enjoy these toys where they were meant to be: on track. Then you add on the community/family that accompanies these experiences - what more can one ask for?

@rhodabueno and I always joke that weāre ātoo oldā for events like these⦠but we had a great time catching up with our track family and meeting fellow motorsport addicts. Nights like these remind me how amazing this community really is.
