Rig. . . . . The new wisefab and slr sway sway bar combo made the change I had been looking for with this car. Steering is butter smooth and with some good grip this car you can drive it full throttle, full lock and let it eat. Crashed it a few times, door tapped atleast a dozen people, and generally just beat the car like never before. It mighta blown up, but goddamn was it worth it. Thank you to everybody who helped me get it together @_matthewneace_ @makalaab for painting and helping me prep the car, @jasonfrank_ for the space to do it, and @joseph_.jk for killer deal on paint material. We basically prepped and sprayed the whole car Wednesday and Thursday night and it may not be perfect, but it's the best this cars ever looked. @german.autosport for the alignment, @spectuned for the anti-lag, & @mattshulmannnn for finding me the deal on the wisefab kit from @colletedavis For the missile car it is, looked damn good for a day or 2. Monthly check in ✅ . Vertical mount project for the 46, final time i want to change this chassis before switching to the slick top so I'm going for it I guess. I would like to do a built m52 somewhere down the road but the 54b30 will live on hopefully for a long while, cams may be the last thing I'll do before going to an iron block. Turbo kit plans are to cad design a twin scroll equal length manifold that includes a stepped runner idea I've always wanted to try out. There is no some elaborate reasoning behind doing this, it's just something i find a cool project during a transition time while i sort out the new shop and get some more of my plm work rolling. www.pspec.us This year I will attempt to possibly try and post more, here is a sample of what I've been up to the last few months. I have tested some parts out on the e46 for a while now and they've all worked quite well. Some parts I have available are the e46 thermostat delete housings, these are designed for any aluminum block m52/m54 and solve a few thermostat related problems I had encountered before developing this. My housing offers -6orb ports right on the front to water cool the turbo, most garret and pulsar turbos will do better water cooled, this housing greatly simplifys that and requires no fabrication. These will be $274.99 without fittings, they will included the freeze plug, retaining compound, -6 plugs, 1/8npt plugs, oem oring seal, and new allen head hardware. Fittings are $30 for -16an or my e46 hose adapter fittings, the radium swivels are pricey regardless, 2 of those runs me $65 so that's where I sell them at, no markup. For now these will only be to delete the thermostat, I have had great success with this setup and personally would reccomend anyone who is drifting their e46 deletes it, I have included a freeze plug and retaining compound to plug the head, this forces all the water through the radiator at all times. My car after a 30+second drifting lap is coming off track under 200deg, and after maybe 60 seconds in grid is back to 170. This during the summer months where ambient temp is 90+ degrees Also available now are the oil coolers I've been working on, the one pictured here is a dual pass w/ billet end tanks, -10orb port, 2"x6"x10" unit. Comparable coolers with this same core are $400+ The 2x6x10 coolers will be priced at $319.99 with fittings Other variations I will post up as they are developed. Nobody is gonna read all this lol Rebuilt quite a bit on this deal over the last few months in the hopes of repairing damage and making performance improvements where I could. Shoutout to the homies @jasonfrank_ @distinctautoboutique for letting me store and work on the car at their shop while my garage was full with another customer car, I'll be posting more on that car through the process. #1 priority was replacing the crusty gutted oem thermostat housing that was allowing coolant to recirc in the head instead of pushing out to the rad. I replaced this with a billet housing and installed a freeze plug in the head to force coolant thru the rad constantly. My housing also allows easy routing of turbo water cooling lines, 2x 1/8npt ports for additional sensors, and a bleeder screw to simplify the initial bleeding process. These housings will be for sale as a kit, including the freeze plug and retaining compound in the next week or 2 on my website. I built a dual pass oil cooler with cnc end tanks aswell, these will available on the website soon. I swapped the mishimoto for a csf rad, built a custom fan shroud w/ a divider, and utilized 2x spal 12in fans that pull 1870cfm each, with advice on proper shroud spacing and divider from @breathefrees14 . I tucked the rad forward in the car 2-3in and tilted it to give more room for air to escape. I switched to a radium swirl pot/expansion tank combo and with some help from @corymisko on which ports would be best to run to the expansion tank. This radium tank will constantly bleed the system eliminating air pockets whenever the car is running. I also decided to move the turbo up in the car about an inch to make room for the 2in hood dump, this took some doing but was greatly worth it for service-ability and better wastegate sounds.
