Taking home the W at the @sonoma_drift FD Shootout! Had to battle through x2 back to back Top 32s and ultimately won the @formulad PROSPEC license.I had planned to compete in this event before my FD petition went through, but still wanted to earn it, and that’s what we did.@donny_dspec ran the car solo all weekend and kept me turning laps all the way to the top!Definitely starting to feel more comfortable in the new chassis and can’t wait for more.This year has been a wild ride and I appreciate each and every one of you for going on this journey with me! My first @formulad PRO-AM podium this weekend for @usdriftcircuit RND 2 in the @gtechniq_na C6 Corvette! This puts us 2nd in the championship now — Going from being the last ones at the track until 2AM with a broken car, to podium the next day is wild. This weekend was really tough and I had lost all confidence in the car Saturday. Thanks to @chelseadenofa for some set up advice that definitely helped going into Sunday.Unfortunately in the finals the car cut power again, but to podium with all the issues and no sleep feels amazing. Congrats to both @ryanhasinsta and @mattshulmannnn for epic driving all weekend!Big thank you to my team ! @donny_dspec for handling everything the c6 through at him & @patgoodin for keeping me calm and not letting us give up. Going into battles we had a mechanical that affected our clutch 5 minutes before Top 32.Had to figure out some funky stuff to get off the line and but decided to send it anyway and got a OMT.The car took a beating and I wasn’t able to stick the timing off the line in the 2nd chase, which ultimately took us out.HOWEVER! This is racing, and you gotta take your wins where you can get them. The fact that the team got me back on track after an engine swap, only 3 laps of practice, another surprise mechanical and we still made it to the line , pulled off our best leads and got a OMT is what im walking away with this weekend!!
