In January, I released a three song EP titled "Mask Off", in partnership with @ac_palestiniansociety . This is something I was and still am extremely proud of- it is the most tangibly good thing I have ever had the opportunity and the privilege to do as an artist. And in a lot of ways, I feel regret because I feel like I have, up until now, squandered that opportunity. Because of physical, mental, and emotional burnout, because of financial danger, and because of no days off, I feel I failed to give it the promotion it deserved back in January (and onward) in order to do the tangible good the partnered release was intended to do, and I think still is capable of doing. But a great thing about music is that it isn't just a moment. Like most art, it is designed to persist beyond that. So I am going to try again, because doing good for people living under violent oppression matters more to me than anything else right now.
