Thanks to our friends at @psegli for visiting Wood Park Friday morning! The students in Mrs. Stahlmann’s and Mrs. Clarke’s first grade classes participated in the Safety Sleuth program sponsored by PSEG Long Island in conjunction with D. Barrett Associates. They viewed engaging, standards-aligned lessons which culminated with a poster project. Mr. Don Furguson, who visited Wood Park Primary School in the fall as a Community Hero, spoke about the program and was instrumental in bringing it to our classes. Mr. Furguson was joined by fellow PSEG Long Island employees, Ms. Cerny and Mr. Presti (Director of Customer Experience and Marketing), we are thrilled to bring awareness to the importance of electrical safety!
