This week, I spent the morning with the incredible students of P.S. 119 for #BronxReadsTogether 📚✨ where I had the opportunity to read to 3 classes! Reading opens doors, sparks imagination, and helps our young people recognize themselves in the pages of the stories they read.
I was grateful to join students, educators, @theceinyc , @storyland_thebxbookhaven , @bronxbpgibson , and @nycschools in celebrating literacy, imagination, and the future leaders of our borough during Bronx Week. #Literacy #TheBronx #CD18 #BronxWeek

In celebration of the culture and diversity of District 8, our school has been invited to participate in the 4th Annual D8 Multicultural Festival taking place on June 3, 2026!
Peru was the country chosen to be represented at this festival for P.S. 119!
