CEI supports teachers across 20 schools in implementing the Zapata Art School Curriculum for Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8.🎨✨Students learn art skills, techniques and concepts, engage in expressive writing exercises, create drawings and collages, while strengthening SEL skills, and ultimately create a Zapata-like multimedia project using paints, collage, and oil pastels.

Our year-end celebration @psms5_port_morris transformed the lunchroom into a gaming zone for 25 students with Xboxes, delicious pizza, and a surprise T-shirt giveaway. It was the perfect way to celebrate our yearlong Esports program and the hard work of our students. Thank you to the amazing staff & students who made the event possible! We were excited to see the breathtaking ceiling mural at the entrance of ps58q The School of Heroes, created by CEI's in-house artist, domingozapata! CEI's CEO, Michael Kohlhagen and Principal Adelina V. Tripoli viewed the finishing touches of the mural. Domingo has earned himself a spot on the school's Peace Heroes of today wall, in good company with other individuals working for a better future.
