«قایق کاغذی» در سه جشنواره بینالمللی
فیلم کوتاه «قایق کاغذی» به نویسندگی و کارگردانی سامان علینژادیان، در ادامهی مسیر بینالمللی خود، به سه جشنواره معتبر جهانی راه یافته است.
✨ این فیلم در تازهترین موفقیت خود، به مرحلهی نیمهنهایی
(Semi Finalist) نهمین دورهی Amarcord Arthouse Television Awards در شیکاگو (Chicago, USA) راه پیدا کرده است.
جشنواره آمارکورد با الهام از سینمای شاعرانه و سورئالیستی فدریکو فلینی، آثاری را میپذیرد که میان خیال، حافظه و واقعیت در نوساناند و از زاویهای شخصی به روایت سینما میپردازند.
🌿 همچنین «قایق کاغذی» در یازدهمین دورهی Proxy Act Film Festival در برلین، آلمان پذیرفته شده است. این جشنواره بخشی از نمایش خود را در طبیعت مناطق توسکانی و لاتیوم ایتالیا برگزار میکند و بستری برای فیلمهای کوتاه با نگاه شاعرانه، اجتماعی و انسانمحور فراهم میسازد.

This short film has had a good time in it's festival run this year and I will be releasing it next week on various platforms for all to see.
This film follows a Siekopai community as they return to their ancestral homeland, Pëkëya/Lagartococha, to reconnect with the land that has sustained them for generations. Along this journey, the community’s elders pass down their knowledge and cosmology to the younger generation, ensuring their wisdom endures into the future.
At the same time, the community embarks on a mission to collect seeds from the region’s endemic fruit trees — plants that hold profound cultural significance and are also vital superfoods. With the support of the NGO @yakum.ec , these seeds are nurtured in community-run nurseries and will be used to reforest lands damaged by invasions, mining, and industrial palm oil expansion.
This short film is a testament to the resilience of indigenous stewardship, the urgent need to protect ancestral territories, and the timeless wisdom of nature-based ways of living with the forest.

🎥✨ Exciting News! My sand animation film, „I Had a Dream“, has been selected for PROXY ACT, an international short film festival. 🌍 Its world premiere will take place in Berlin on December 1, 2024, during the festival’s 11th-anniversary screenings!
This year’s program features inspiring works from around the world, including Ukraine, Germany, Canada, France, USA, Colombia, Italy, Portugal, Iran, Venezuela, Bangladesh, Uganda/Greece, Brazil, Czech Republic, UK, Poland, and Kenya.
„I Had a Dream“ is a deeply personal work, dedicated to the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It envisions a world without war: where death is replaced by life, destruction by revival, fear by peace, and pain by hope and harmony.

FOOD FILM FEST is a festival organised by @the_ugly_mandoo in collaboration with @proxy_act calling exclusively for food-focused short films. Films where food is not merely used as a prop, but becomes a main vehicle to convey emotions.
Our selection will be released in collaboration with the PROXY ACT festival and @_dukafilm_ Festival (Germany, 5-18 July 2021) at the SOUL FAMILY GATHERING 2021 - HUMMINGBIRD EDITION, a unique event hosted in a Neo-gothic castle built in 1840 in Brandenburg Germany. With an open-air screen, a main-hall screen, a video art projection room and a stage for live performances, with the aim want to bring films, music and nature together in a unique responsible act for change.
