A collective park clean-up, yoga, crafting with recycled materials & healthy, delicious, local snacks. Thank you to our community who showed up, picked up & flowed through the morning with us.🌀
20kg of rubbish collected & sorted, R3500 raised for Protect our Paths, 20 recycled yoga mat straps crafted, about 200 chaturangas 😜 and many human connections made in the process.💛

Next weekend, we are proud to be co-hosting Yoga for the Planet alongside The Yoga Collective!
It will be a morning of movement, creative crafts and doing good for our planet.
Join us on Saturday, 16 May where all proceeds from the event will go to supporting the @protectourpaths custodians.

This Sunday, we spent the morning at the VWS trail run where all proceeds went towards helping protect the precious landscapes we know and love.
Along with us, came the @protectourpaths custodians who cheered the runners on as they ran the paths they help maintain every single day.

On Friday, we got together with a group of engaged environmental actors & planet protectors to clean up Milnerton Beach, ahead of the legendary Freedom Paddle. ♻️🌍🛶

The community joined a fun beach clean-up, followed by an inspiring and invigorating @elevate.capetown guided movement session with headphones, and topped it off with a pledge of devotion to our magnificent ocean.

A recap of our recent visit to @sustainableceder at @driehoektouristfarm . It was amazing to see & learn from this project in real life, identifying parallels in our own work in environmental stewardship, and just enjoying being out in the wilderness.⛰️

Last week, we hosted our very first Team Day & Training Workshop with the awesome custodians of Protect our Paths. 🌿
It was a hugely valuable experience.
Our custodians were able to meet each other - some for the first time; be recognised for their dedication to protecting our natural spaces; gain a better understanding of our custodianship programme and the Foundation, and just enjoy a fun day of learning and team-building, together. ⭐
We are grateful to @sanparks , and especially, Honorary Ranger, Wez (@sanparks_volunteers ) for the use of the SANParks HQ to host our workshop; as well as to @sealandgear for their support in facilitating the day (and beyond!).
We are already looking forward to the next one. 🌍
