Seamlessly blending live-action with AI-generated worlds …that’s what we did in this commercial.. For this campaign with JOKOLADE, the chocolate brand by German TV host and entertainer @joko Winterscheidt, every scene had to walk a fine line: the world we created had to convey the feel of @jokolade and, more importantly, push reality into the surreal without our real character ever slipping into something artificial or feeling like someone else. Keeping Joko’s look and acting 100% intact … that was our main challenge. So we decided to shoot this hybrid: AI-generated worlds + real shooting of talent. This is what happens when AI enters the set. Real footage. Infinite Realities. We produced a series of social media spots for Jokolade, the chocolate brand by German TV host and entertainer @joko . Shot hybrid, grown from real footage and AI-generated worlds. Joko lands in an exaggerated, surreal parallel reality that never existed and still feels completely real. The question isn’t whether AI changes advertising anymore. It’s already happening ! We made two spots for Spa, both 100% AI. You’ve seen the first one for this mineral water brand. Now watch the second: the Intense sparkling version. We built both versions before Seedance 2.0 or Kling 3.0 4K dropped. If you’re in the AI space, you know what that means …the tools move faster than any production timeline. That’s exactly why we optimize our workflow constantly and keep pushing the tools to their limits. Staying dynamic keeps us fast. Quality comes from being honest but also realistic about where AI still falls short. Knowing its limits is what lets us align clients in direction and that’s the only way to work responsibly with a pipeline that’s still evolving. Is AI finally there to make TV ads actually worth watching? Here’s our take. We made two spots for Spa, one for each version of their mineral water. Both 100% AI. Our workflow with clients and agencies: DI, storyboarding, character development, location development, reference images. We stopped doing startframes. They just led to endless feedback rounds on frames that often had nothing to do with the final shot. Pointless. We change our workflows every day. Some parts stay the same, but we stay dynamic that’s how we keep the quality high and the turnaround fast. The tricky parts: keeping the bottle shape consistent, keeping characters consistent, and making the camera feel like a real camera not too perfect. Are we on par with real footage yet? Not 100% A camera still beats AI sometimes. But image quality isn’t the only thing that matters in modern filmmaking anymore and for a lot of the other stuff, AI is already the better tool and wee keep pushing it to it limits. We’re proud to share that our director, @simonmeyer_director placed 2nd in @runwayapp ’ s Big Ad Contest 🏆 for “Products That Don’t Exist.” At PROMPTR, we love working with ads as a genre 🎬 not just to showcase products, but to play, stretch, and embed storytelling into them. Simon’s piece does exactly that: a fictional campaign for a sunscreen made for Dracula… following a frustrated vampire longing for a normal life in the sun, until a surprisingly budget-friendly SOLUTION changes everything. ;) IMAGINATION was the brief. Can you spot which shot is AI and which one is real? For this TV campaign with MOWI, we blended real production footage with AI-generated sequences to create a seamless visual narrative. We didn’t use AI as a shortcut, but as a cinematographic tool. The goal was simple: one film, one visual language, no fracture. The challenge was making them feel like they belong to the same film. Real footage anchors the important part of the story, but what AI enabled was the visual moments such as macro details, the textures and the shots that would eat half your budget and a full day on set. What that actually required: • Analyzing the lighting, lens language, and camera movement of the real footage • Designing prompts that mirror the same visual grammar • Using AI primarily for inserts, textures, and macro moments • Editing AI and real shots rhythmically inside the same sequence • Unifying everything through color grading and sound design When it works, the question at the top becomes genuinely hard to answer. That’s the whole point.
