The 5-concert series kicks off October 17 with the @prometheus_quartet , this year’s Emerging Artists string quartet, followed by an Alumni Showcase on November 19 featuring OMF alum @conorlhanick , pianist, alongside clarinetist @gerbrichmeijer , winner of the 2025 Alumni Performance Award.

It was also such a privilege to collaborate with the brilliant teaching artists @jeremydenkpiano , @sashamezzomama , and @richiehawleyclarinet on Ravel’s Trois poèmes de Mallarmé, as well as with composer percussionist @andyakiho on his electrifying works In Exchange and Aka.
Santa Barbara’s sunshine and its incredibly warm community has been a great place to dive deeper into our passion. Many thanks to MAW's Compeer Program for connecting us with true music lovers who have become meaningful friends.

We did it! The Prometheus Quartet has graduated from Juilliard! 🎓🔥
We’re thrilled to share that from 2025–2027, we’ll be the fellowship graduate quartet in Residence at the University of Delaware @udelaware , working closely with the amazing Calidore String Quartet @calidoresq ! 💙
Two years ago, in a casual reading party in room 480G, the Prometheus fire quietly ignited. Since then, it’s grown into something unstoppable — a shared passion, a deep friendship, and unforgettable memories.
We’re committed to spreading that fire and sharing all that chamber music has to offer — its superpower to connect, inspire, and unite.
