Back in 2007, @kharshak introduced PROJECTOR to the world, launching a magazine that quickly became a must-read for anyone passionate about design. From its very first issue, it set out to explore design in all its forms, diving into everything from Finnish and Dutch aesthetics to American poster art, Swiss minimalism, and the craftsmanship of Japanese graphic schools. Over the years, PROJECTOR has become a stage for design legends. Think Milton Glaser, Massimo Vignelli, Winy Maas, and Eero Aarnio, to name just a few. Through in-depth interviews, project reviews, and rich historical features, the magazine has built a bridge between eras, ideas, and icons. But PROJECTOR has always been more than a magazine. Every issue has inspired exhibitions, lectures, and workshops led by some of the industry’s most influential voices. Today, this legacy continues. Partnering with creatives worldwide, PROJECTOR is now a global media platform, spotlighting design as a universal language that connects us all. Welcome to the conversation. 🔗 website linked in bio

The idea of exploring Hungarian graphic design in depth first took shape in 2018, during an exhibition of István Orosz’s works at Novy Museum in St. Petersburg. That meeting, and a later reunion in 2024 as jury members of the Golden Bee Global Poster Biennale, made it clear — Orosz had to be part of this issue of PROJECTOR. Curated in collaboration with @anzhelichna and supported by @huncult , this edition brings together a distinctive collection of works from the Hungarian design school. The issue not only showcases the creative approaches of individual artists but also uncovers the underlying themes that connect them. The Hungarian issue of PROJECTOR is out now — dive in and explore 🔗 linked in bio #printmedia #hungariandesign

#branding The goals and objectives of rebranding the @kunstkameramuseum  (the Chamber of Curiosities) — Russia's first public museum, founded in 1713— demanded a new visual language. This rebranding aimed to present the museum as a modern institution of science and education, rich in history and unique collections, while also creating an appealing image for new target audiences. The previous version of the Kunstkamera's logo featured a stylized image of the museum's main facade, which faces the Neva embankment. Since this building silhouette is one of St. Petersburg's most iconic architectural landmarks and is instantly recognizable, it was considered important to retain it in the new logo, albeit with a radically redesigned style and updated semantic meaning.
